WHAT TIME IS IT , PLEASE ?

  

                                               

There are two common ways of telling the time in English.

1.- Say the hours first and then the minutes.                                         

 Example: 8:35 = It´s eight thirty-five.
      

 For minutes from 01 to 09, pronounce the "0" as /ou/. 

Example: 1:06 = It´s one /ou/ six.

2.-Say the minutes first and then the hour, using "past" or "to":       

             It´s  +  minutes  +     to   +  hour
